SynAir is Synelixis’ innovative solution, coming as an extension to Synfield, which can detect and measure air quality characteristics. The professional SynAir device has an integrated platform of air quality sensors, capable of supporting both digital and analog sensors.
SynAir can measure:
- Temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure

Suspended particles (PM1.0, PM 2.5, PM4, PM10) and total volatile
organic compounds (VOC) - CO, CO2, O2, Ozone and NO2
SynAir can also detect ethanol
How it works
The SynAir device can support:
- Up to six digital I2C sensors
- Up to four analog sensors (16-bit ADC accuracy)
The device incorporates widely used connector systems
(QWICC/Stemma-QT/Grove)
How does it work :

The SynAir device is specially designed to connect to the SynField nodes (X3 and X5). See the SynField nodes here.

The SynField device will then read the sensors and forward sensor data to the SynField platform.

Measurements of air quality characteristics are sent from the SynAir device to the SynField platform.
- The data are available, wherever you are though your desktop or your mobile device!

You can set alerts! Through the SynField platform, you can set alerts so that you are automatically notified in case any of the criteria you set are met.
